Located on top of the Eastern Owasco Valley in Locke, N.Y., Chateau Dusseau has found a foothold in the Finger Lakes wine industry. We hold the South/ East corner of the wine region, and often find ourselves the first stop for many travelers who are ready to dive into the Finger Lakes experience.

We opened our doors in 2006, but the Dusseau family has been working the fields and forests atop Erron Hill Road for three generations now. We offer a variety of reds and whites that will please any wine drinker’s pallet, with a couple of our own estate grown grape varieties.

Making maple syrup has been part of our family’s history as well, and we have brought it to our tasting room for all to share in this labor of love. We also share our love of craft beer by providing two rotating taps for local farm breweries to showcase their product in our tasting room.

When tourists stop into our tasting room, they rarely anticipate the experience that unfolds, and it’s that experience that keeps our local crowd coming back for more. Whether we have a band performing for one of our monthly events, or some of the local musicians stopping in to have a jam session, music will always be a part of what we do here.

Summertime is our time to shine, which is why we are constantly improving our grounds and landscaping. And on any given day, you can find us throwing a game of bocce, setting up the croquet course, or having an Art Session, where painters of all levels can come for a good time to find their muse. Which leads to our party of the year, Harvest Fest!

Every year, when the grapes begin to ripen, and all elements are optimal, we share our love and appreciation with everyone who contributed and helped us to get where we are now, with our summer blowout full of drink, food, music, games, and overall merriment. So if you haven’t come out to see us yet, don’t wait any longer! As our 10 year anniversary is around the corner, be sure to keep a close eye, we still have some new surprises to come!
